Scope:
Engineering division provides engineering services for the ongoing oil production, these services include: field inspection, commissioning, project coordination and design, engineering specialist support in are of rotating equipment, electrical power system and instrumentation and process control systems. Instrument engineers will be specialist for the operation, repair, testing and troubleshooting of instruments and equipments.
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. degree in Instrumentation / Control Engineering.
Project experience from design stage, construction, and commissioning; thorough knowledge of DCS, ESD, field instrumentation, oil plant equipment and process; gas turbine and gas compressor control, SCADA and communication experience; ability to work with and train others.
At least 07 years experience DCS, ESD and field instrumentation in the oil industry or similar processes. Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices, calculation methods, design details and international/Saudi Aramco codes, standards and specifications.
Principal Duties: :
Prepare design packages for installation of existing/ new instrument control and shutdown systems in oil separation and water injection plants. Investigate and recommend solution to field operating problems involving digital control systems (DCS), emergency shutdown systems (ESD), conventional analog control and digital/ analog field instruments.
Prepare written reports and recommendations. Communicate with equipment vendors and meet with company technical consultants concerning new technology, equipment upgrades, revision to standards, purchase specifications, test procedures and new project designs.
Plan, schedule and provide coordination and work direction as required for the preparation of designs, processes, reports, correspondence and related data and assures the efficiency, adequacy and conformance to over all objectives of project.
Act as technical consultant when required, discuss, coordinate and resolve problems with personnel throughput Aramco and subsidiaries and with outside of company organizations. Recommend new installations or modifications to improve existing facilities and standardization within specific fields of endeavor, estimate cost, prepare justifications to complete expenditure requests as required and review directed works of engineers.
